2025 Provo Half Marathon
Event Overview
The Utah County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (UCARES) will be helping provide communication support for the 2025 Provo Half Marathon.
- Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
- Route Overview: The race begins at South Fork Park in Provo Canyon and finishes in downtown Provo.

Volunteer Information
Registration Process
All UCARES members who wish to participate must sign up using the official Google Form. The event organizer will review registrations, assign positions, and provide further instructions.
Equipment Requirements
- Handheld VHF/UHF radio
- Some stations may require a mobile radio with portable antenna
- Fully charged batteries and spares
- UCARES ID Card
- Yellow Vest
- Headset or speaker-mic (recommended for noisy environments)
