Our next interface meeting will be Tuesday, September 6, at 1800 (6pm). It is our
annual UCARES family picnic, and will be held at the Orem City Center Park pavilion on Center Street (between State and 400 East).

Because this comes right after Labor Day weekend, we would like to have an
idea of how many are planning on attending. Please email me
(w7ie@ucares.org) with a nose count of adults and children coming. If your
plans change either way, that’s ok. Come even if you didn’t tell us, and

don’t worry about coming if you said you would but can’t.

We are asking for each individual or family to bring a salad or dessert. If
you can’t bring something, you are still welcomed to come. We will provide
the main course (probably hamburgers and/or hot dogs) and drinks.

If you know somebody interested in becoming a Ham or joining ARES, please
invite them to come and bring them with you.

As additional incentive (if the free food wasn’t enough), we will hold a
raffle around 1930 (7:30pm). You must come to the picnic to enter, and tickets will
be given according to participation during 2005 (you get one ticket just for
coming to the picnic).
