The Utah Rock Crawling & Offroad Challenge (UROC) has asked for volunteers to help with communications and crowd control for the Super Crawl III event being held October 15, 16, 17 at the Rocky Mountain Raceway in SLC.

The Utah Rock Crawling & Offroad Challenge (UROC) has asked for volunteers to help with communications and crowd control for the Super Crawl III event being held October 15, 16, 17 at the Rocky Mountain Raceway in SLC (SW of the airport off 2100 S).

There will be 10 positions each day for the following times:
10am to 6pm Friday October 15
10am to 6pm Saturday October 16
10am to 8pm Sunday October 17 (the main event)

UROC is offering lunch, free tickets for family, and event T-shirts to the volunteers. Their website is www.uroc.com.

They would like volunteers to wear their blue ARES shirt (if you have one). If you don’t have a shirt, we will still take you!

Please let me know by this Friday (October 8) if you are interested in volunteering, when you would be available and your preferred T-shirt size. I will also be taking sign-ups at the interface meeting and after the net this week.

If you are working on your ARES certification, this might be the last public service event until next Spring!
