Folks,

It is that time of the year. The annual Sage Riders Hare and Hound motorcycle desert race. This is extreme communications. We typically deploy a portable 440 repeater and use cross band links. We are seeking radio operators that don’t mind a challenge, dust, snow, rain or some combination thereof. This is a fun event. For those that are interested it will be Saturday April the third.

Some of us are going down the Friday night before to setup. There will be a pot luck dutch oven dinner. This dinner will be held at about 18:30 to 19:00. If you are interested, please rsvp to either Dave Rogers, N7KYY@ucares.org or Jeff Ballif, KB7VSJ@ucares.org.
