Current Callout Information about the Crowd Canyon Fire.

The National Forest Service has called out SCAT and ARES to assist in the Crowd Canyon Fire. The fire is located east of Mapleton and north of Spanish Fork canyon. Some smoke is visible, but there is not a large plume. This fire started yesterday afternoon. Our involvement began this morning.

An ARES member is needed for each shift beginning at 1200 today. At this time, there are no plans to fight the fire overnight.
