Outdoor Training will be held at Theater-In-The-Pines at Aspen Grove on Saturday May 12th. New Members will start at 0830, everyone else 0900 and will lasts to around 1630 hr.
At the request of the Sheriff’s Office, TERT is requiring that all members take a CPR class at least once every two years. Before panic sets in, it will be offered at no cost at the Outdoor Training. This will be a great opportunity for you in your personal life, family, etc, and raising the bar in your TERT activities. In order to participate in TERT this year, you will have to attend the cpr class or take a class or certify elsewhere.
While we encourage all TERT members to obtain a current CPR certification, only TERT team leaders will be required to have a current CPR certification. If you wish to certify in CPR, both Mapleton City EMS and American For EMS offers monthly CPR classes – Mapleton on the fourth Saturday (call 801 489-5655) and American Fork on the third Wednesday (call 801-763-3045).
I look forward to seeing everyone again and getting up in the mountains.
