Utah Co. ARES will be doing some pr, have an HF set up at the Orem Cascade Stake ‘Pandemic Preparedness’ event this Saturday, September 15th.

The event runs from 9:11-12noon
Location is 481 E. Center in Orem.

Utah Co. ARES is doing some pr at a Stake Preparedness Fair.
Gene Worth WG7GW is also setting up an HF rig outside the building. If you’re new to radio and want to come and make contacts outside of Utah Co., come find out how much fun you can have on HF.

Gene is going to to ask the Buddipole Users Group to listen for us … probably 14.265 +/- 5 … “wherever I can establish a beach head and call CQ. If you have friends with HF capabilities, ask them to listen for us … our call will be WG7GW. We’ll identify our activity with the
CQ calls.”

If you are interested, bring a comfortable chair to sit in , wear your ARES call out gear and come hang out with us and share your stories about helping out with ARES.
