March 2017  Ham radio license class in Provo for the Technician (entry level) license.

Saturday 18th of March 2017  Technician one day class at BYU  8am to 5pm.

Exam in the afternoon.  Class is free.   $14 for test.  To register and more details email:

General : Mar 14, 21, 28, Apr 11

*Technician : May 23, 30, Jun 6, 13

^General : Jul 25, Aug 1, 8, 15

Technician : Sep 26, Oct 3, 10

All run on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Orem Public Safety Traffic Training Room, 95 E Center St. Sign up at psclass.orem.org for $10 per person per course.

* On request by Orem City, this Tech course contains an extra day (June 6) to prepare prospective and current licensees for the City Drill in September.

^ Just like last year, if the demand for this General course is low enough (less than 6), and verbal demand for an Extra course is high enough (greater than 10), this can be converted into an Amateur Extra course running the same days, but from 5:30 to 9:00 pm
