Monthly Interface Meeting
The monthly UCARES interface meeting is a “face to face” meeting where we get together in person to meet new faces and to discuss various topics involving HAM Radio, Emergency Communications, or Public Service. Frequently there are presentations, training, and project workshops. Check back on this page for the current schedules.
Scott Golightly (KG7WHX) is our Interface coordinator. Clark Cox (KA6PIZ) are on the interface committee. Feel free to e-mail them, or leave a comment here if you have suggestions or comments about interface meetings.
Interface meeting is usually held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.
The meeting will be in the North Annex training room (North West side of the building) at the Utah County Sheriffs Office. (NOTE: Please don’t go to the “Emergency Services” office. That’s on the south east side of the same building)
New HAM Night
A monthly “New HAM night” is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the same location. This is a very informal meeting to answer questions about HAM radio, get help configuring and programming equipment, and getting to know UCARES members and leadership. Everyone is welcome.
