SET
S.E.T. stands for Simulated Emergency Training
As the AEC over SET events, it is my responsibility to find and coordinate SET events for the UCARES organization. On this page, you will find information about upcoming SET events. The purpose of these events is to train UCARES members in Emergency procedures and protocols and to prepare them to participate in emergency communications activities. If you are working on your UCARES levels of certification or would just like to help participate in an SET event, this is the place to look. If you don’t find what you need, check back again later. If you are involved in one of the various community preparedness groups such as CERT or ERC etc. and have information about upcoming activities that UCARES members could participate in, please send me an e-mail message. The goal is to get UCARES members involved in every community and to represent our organization as a valuable resource.
